Algar Waterfalls -
The Algar Waterfalls, also
known as Fonts de Algar (Beautiful Waterfalls).They are e located near Callosa d'Ensarriá, 35 Km from Calpe & Benidorm on
the road to Callosa and are a series of waterfalls and natural
swimming pools which are just stunning. A very good picnic spot .The
experience is fantastic and kids love it.
It is locaed on the way to Guadalest you'll pass by the sign for the
Fonts de Algar.
From the car park you walk up
through the valley, following the marked trail along the bank of the
river. The flow of water comes from natural springs and alternates
between cascades and deep blue pools. The banks are carpeted with
white and pink flowers in summer. This is a popular tourist
attraction and people come here specifically to take a swim in the
crystal clear natural pool under the main waterfall at the end of
the canyon.
